Rhubarb is an wonderful plant, with many uses and application. This web site is all about rhubarb. Since June 1994 these web pages have been available to anyone interested in gaining an understanding and appreciation of this fine vegetable. This compendium is a collection of rhubarb information from many sources.

Much of the information is from world wide web pages or postings to various news groups (rec.gardens, rec.food.cooking, rec.food.recipes), some is from my own personal rhubarb growing experience, and some has been directly contributed by friends, associates, and visitors to The Rhubarb Compendium.

This compendium is divided into a series of short chapters to make reading easy and downloading the many (conveniently sized) images faster. This is a work in progress. I'm moving the old Rhubarb Compendium from a rats-nest of hand edited HTML files (yes, it was a pain to maintain that way, so I mostly didn't) to a Drupal managed web site. While I'm doing that I'm also attempting to clean up the many typos & spelling mistakes, weed out the out-of-date information, and insert the new stuff I've accumulated. Its almost done. Please bear with me until all of the wrinkles are ironed out. If you have any problems please drop me an email.
